Glenn Andreiev spent his teenage years haunting New York City movie revival houses, catching hard to find films on the big screen. This sparked his film-making interest, where he made Super 8mm films, using ususpecting friends as cast and crew memebers.

After attending Suffolk Community College for Journalism, and the School of Visual Arts for Film, Glenn worked in various aspects of film production.

“I did everything from grip work, editing, sound recording, props, special effects. You name it. I even tried my hand at some acting,” Mr. Andreiev confesses. In 1988 he lensed his first feature film, Vampire’s Embrace, based on a Hindu vampire legend. “It took four years for my directing debut to reach an unsuspecting audience.” Since then, Glenn has made four more feature films (Night, a vampire noir tale, and Mad Wolf, a fact-based Revolutionary War thriller), and a documentary, Film Making for $20 A Day (on how to make a feature film for less than pennies). He has written all his own screenplays, and has written screenplays for hire. For the past several years, he has written film reviews and celebrity interviews for The World of Fandom, a multimedia magazine.

Currently Glenn Andreiev is hiding out in his apartment on Long Island, with his cat Boris and his vast collection of hard to find videos. His fascination with cinema, and tourist attractions of very bad taste, knows no bounds.
